Hardt/Thurston Line

I have not been working as diligently on genealogy in the past couple of months. My mom passed away on May 27, 2008 after 5 months of struggling for life. A month later, I found I was pregnant! With all-day-morning sickness and taking care of my 12 and 7 year old girls this summer, I have bcome lax in my genealogy (housework and scrapbooking, too!).

I was very pleased to receive an email from Lois Ams about a message I posted in the Thurston Family Genealogy Forum. It was a genealogy winfall! :) Now to get the information sorted in my not-thinking-very-well brain and share it with my Hardt cousins! Lois Ams's ancestor is James H. Thurston, who was the brother of my ancestor, Diana Thurston who married Charles Frederick William (Carl FriederichWilhelm) HARDT.

I'm going to keep working through on the information Lois sent me, as well as the census and marriage records I have collected on the Thurston's, to try to get it all straightened out into family group sheets, etc.

Our Thurston's were in the Revolutionary War, so we've got info to work with that is documented. What a great batch of information to get! :)
